Heavyweight

Last nights weight put our little one just about half an ounce over her birth weight at 2lbs and 12.8 oz, and tonight they weighed her again and she was up to 2lbs and 14.5 oz.   This is great she seems to be moving right along here.  Although when they remove the PICC line tomorrow, which is still scheduled to be removed, we will probably see a plateau there as she plays catch-up calorie wise in breast milk.

Today they have begun fortifying the milk to boost the calories per mL.  They did however hold her at 15mL per feeding today as they only like to change one item at a time with her feedings.  Tomorrow I suspect we'll start on an 18mL per feeding level.

We are excited to lose her PICC line tomorrow as it means one less wire attached to her little body and one less item susceptible to infection.

We started receiving the meals that people have been providing for us on Friday, it has been such a blessing to have one less thing to think about at this time.  Thank you all so much, it means a lot to us!
