GA 29

Today is 29 weeks of Gestational Age a great little milestone.

We have been here eight days now, 6 of them with little Ainsley, mom and dad are feeling better each day that goes by.  We do have our emotional moments from time to time. 

The staff here has been has been absolutely fantastic.  They have kept us informed and are willing to answer all of our questions and we have lots of them.  But, most of all they continue to make us feel confident in their ability to love and care for our daughter.

One of the concerns I mentioned the other day was that of the possibility of an infection.   They now believe that she probably isn't infected with anything.  Her CBC came back and things are looking more normal.  So that is great!

Today we have bumped her up to 9ml of breast milk per feeding, also another good thing as she has been having less and less residuals. 

Mom is currently kangarooing with Ainsley at the moment, it brings tears to my eyes every time I see this; Kangarooing is one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen. 

I think I'll leave you all with that for today.  I am going to post some more pics later tonight.  I realized that when I was posting everything I posted was with mom.  So tonight I'll make sure to put some of me up.
