On to updates:
- Ainsley is now 5 pounds 3.5 ounces! We are amazed at her growth. Check out the pictures below.
- After 6 days back on the CPAP we are again trying the nasal cannula. We are again hopeful that her lungs are ready to work with less support.
- She is now eating 47mLs per feeding (8xs a day). We remember when she was just getting 1mL per feeding. Ainsley continues to tolerate her feeds well.
- The plan is to continue to work on breast feeding this week. Having the CPAP off makes this much easier.
- We heard the first mention of "home" by the NNP during rounds. She was talking about all the things we need to do before she goes home. We have to admit we were excited to hear that word: "home"!
