Last Synagis Shot of the Season!

It felt like the day would never come - Ainsley had her last synagis shot of the season on Tuesday this week.  (I should say 2 shots, because of her weight she has to get one in each leg.)  She got her shot at her 9 month appointment.  Everything else looked great and so now we don't see the doctor until her one year well baby appointment.  That feels very strange to us because we were going to the doctor at least once a month.  Yay for healthy Ainsley!

We also had her Developmental Follow Up appointment this month.  Last Thursday, we headed to the Salem rehab center for the afternoon.  Ainsley was evaluated by the pediatric OT (Occupational Therapist) and, one of our favorite neonatologists from the NICU, Dr. Cohen.  Both were looking at her development and comparing it to expectations for her corrected age (a little over 6 months).  She did great.  It was a rather long appointment and she was hungry and tired by the end.  All her development is on target for her corrected age and some a bit ahead so of course we are thrilled.  The developmental clinic will continue to follow up and monitor her development, we will be going back at one year corrected, 18 months corrected, and three years corrected.  We are very thankful to have this kind of support!

Thanks for sharing. How funny that you would post her bathtime pictures, since I just posted Wendee & Brandon in the tub. Time flies, way too quickly!
Love you all
