March for Babies Update

On, Saturday, April 28th, we participated in a fundraiser for March of Dimes, called March for Babies.  As you may have seen on our previous post, March of Dimes funds research to help all babies be born full term and healthy.  Their mission is close to our heart and research funded by March of Dimes helped shape the life-saving care that Ainsley received when she was born early at 28 weeks. Click here for more information about March of Dimes.


It was a wonderful event.  Our group, Team Ainsley Marie, was made up of family and dear friends.  We had 24 walkers/runners on our team and we were able to raise over $2065!!  Wow!! We are so proud of our team and very thankful to all that were able to donate to the cause.  Because of you and your generosity, babies just like Ainsley will receive the care they need and research to find and fight the causes of prematurity will be funded.  Thank you for saving babies!


The weather turned out great for our 6.2 mile walk that started at the Salem Hospital.  Ainsley rode along with us in the jogging stroller and enjoyed visiting with all the team members.  Here are some pictures from that day:
